At times there seems to be some confusion between ESG and SRI could you spend a little time on the two, and how the confusion may impact directors.

Where does ESG « sit » on boards? In one of the traditional committees, as a new focal area, or infused throughout?

Do you have research that correlates ESG to profitability?

How has ESG evolved, if at all at board and company levels as a result of the events of the past 6 months. What is seems to be coming to top for boards to review as a result around ESG topics? Thank you.

The SEC has given guidance that companies must report these material environmental risks. But most regulatory filings still contain only boilerplate language drafted by counsel. How do we get companies to provide investors with relevant material information (and enforce the SEC requirements)

Question re: parameters and metrics—G seems to be a checklist (situations such as failures of oversight being the exception), E tends to checklist or metrics, but S seems to refer to all kinds of qualitative measures as well as some diversity (not inclusion) metrics. How does a company know what’s important when many participants (proxy advisory firms, algorithmic traders—but not Parnassas!) look almost solely to metrics?

the SEC is looking to change the 13f filing threshold - it will GREATLY diminish the ability to see changes in your shareholder set.

are there certain companies that ESG experts often reference as standouts in the ESG area especially in the tech sector?

I had the CEO of a private company with a strong "E" focus (sells sustainable products) make the case to me that by his/her company going public with dual class/10:1 Class B voting, it helps the company with its focus on making sure the "E" received long term focus from the company. How would an institutional investor view dual class if it lead to a stronger focus on "E"

How do top investors use ESG to influence private companies, and what messaging and activities are typically most meaningful to those investors? (E.g. large pension fund that’s invested in a private equity fund that’s then invested in private companies)
