No, how many of the jobs being spoke about pay a wage that allows for workers to earn 3 times the rent to qualify for an apartment?

These housing proposals are reintroducing CONTRACT LEASING.

The requirement of earning 3 times the rent in this housing market is hugely problematic.

I do not see the efforts being made to bring the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), HUD, or FHA to the carpet. The housing inequities we face were regulated through government entities. We must not forget how we got here.

There are no cultures that were not impacted by gangs. The resolution has always been adequate education and upward economic mobility. Young people have no jobs, schools are falling and they are watching their parents be laid off and shuffled around.

Black people largely remain stifled regardless of the education level. We need to be breaking down the Federal reserve data. We have been locked out! You can't out money money!

We come together every Sunday and create a multi million dollar industry in churches. We come together and spend in Asian owned hair stores and Mexican restaurants. We come together and spend at Immigrant owned liquor stores

Our pain is always a point of exploitation. We haven't received reparations but we receive holidays and the promise of paid days off for jobs we don't have or vacations most of us can't afford to take.

I am a business owner on 29th and Fairfax. Collar Candy Pet Supplies Boutique. I pay 1600$ a month for 200 square feet. Not one person living in the apartments above the shops are Black. Not one. How do they find out about this real estate in traditionally Black communities?
