Thank you to the team who has created this document and doing the heavy lifting.

Thank you Bishop for not “charging” my and all other pastors!
Could we not have a separate "Communion" service that everyone would sign up for and "meet" in the ZOOM room. and do it live.
in essence, should the elements be so limited to just bread and juice?
If we are offering via zoom, folks are able to phone in, so technology is less restrictive.
My 95 year old grandma calls in.... Just saying.
I'm here because I teach "Come to the Table" through BeADisciple.com. I'm hoping to share this conversation in future sessions. But - Bishop, could you and the panel also discuss: As we return to meeting physically, what practical guidance do you have for us? Is intinction permissible? Must we return to earlier practice of tiny squares of Wonder bread and cups? If so, is glass OK or must it be plastic disposbles? What are the "hows"?
How do we include the community that meet via Conference Call
Can we address the tangible for when we return to in-person worship?
To me the higher question is will everyone that manages to dial in be able to feel the presence of God through a computer?
I would like for the panel to address also for those with hearing issues, hard of hearing or deaf. I understand that this may be a small population. But it matters if we're talking about inclusiveness.
I am keep thinking about Emmaus experience. where Jesus would meet them in moments of holy meal.
Do any other denominations affirm on line communion?
Didn’t Wesley also ‘ordain’ people and send them out to do communion
Communion didn’t stay within the Anglican tradition within the Anglican Church
I need to leave for a missions committee on Zoom. Thank you all for your sharing and work on this!
Thank you for this team and the information being presented.
Bob - some of the other denominations in my area are currently opening their buildings for worship because of the in-person communion issue. Makes keeping our buildings closed even more difficult, at least trying to explain both the opening issues and the communion issues.
I like how ‘our brains work.’ also consider hearts as the Holy Spirit is at work
preparation—pre prepared packets?
Excellent resource for resuming worship.
Breaking the bread at church with the Communion Team is breaking body?
There are some directions in our ReTurn Team’s documents, too.
Can the breaking of the bread be prepared if you’re thinking limited to real time ?
There are individually wrapped hosts as well.
what about the distance issue of handing out the elements?
Linny - do you mean like this: https://www.christianbook.com/celebration-wafer-juice-sets-box-250/pd/553262?en=google&event=SHOP&kw=church-supplies-40-60%7C553262&p=1179710&dv=c&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo7OO4I_66QIVBziGCh39SA-9EAYYASABEgKGWPD_BwE
What does the panel think about the individual kits? Other faith traditions use them and they can be consecrated at an individual unit.
so can we offer communion?
I’ve been to Philippine and one of the groups used coconut juice.
Hey! I had a tremendous Holy Spirit experience with potato chips and Coke. I'm a kid of the 60's.
Coconut also very commonly used in Polynesia.
Gotta run to another meeting. Thank you so much, Panel!
Thanks for all your hard work Team!
