Thank you for this excellent discussion. Two remarkable Australian leaders. Content is king - especially for a venue like the SOH. Arts funding is at its lowest level and artists, particularly aross the smaller companies have been adversly impacted. Many of our young performers are leaving Australia to make their way in Europe where they are able to secure work. I wonder how we ensure that Australia continues to have an arts community that is able to produce excellent work and how we connect with our Australian arts diaspora to ensure that Australian artists remain connected with Australian audiences?

I would encourage you to begin to think about the Opera House as a global platform for content as well as a physical presence.
