Hi everyone! if you message me (privately) your email, I will send you the slides from today. Alternatively, we will post some of this information on our website after the webinar: https://www.northyorktorontohealthpartners.ca/

I do not have this experience with the doctor I am associated with right now. They do not believe in tests etc for preventative care. I have to be sick to get attention. How does one work around that?

39:26
Thanks Alifia! We will address your question shortly!

43:29
Can we insist on getting certain tests done if we know that it would get us answers but the family doctor doesn't agree?

44:06
Thanks Lubna - will address your question shortly!

45:13
Are family Dr open for checking the patients? My dr is not open for physical meeting and checking but only on phone due to covid.

46:34
Do we need a health card to get Covid testing? Some members do not have access to OHIP. What can they do?

47:13
If, suppose I test positive, would anyone else know my covid results?

47:21
What happens when someone is not happy with the care they are receiving from their family doctor? What steps do they take?

47:59
Thanks for your questions everyone! We will be sure to have them addressed soon.

48:50
my OHIP card expired last month but right now it is said on service Ontario website that as of now the ohip card renewal is not required and the expired ohip card is still valid. Is this true?

50:27
Is there an urgent care clinic close to our community?

50:30
same with my family....just wanted to check our options to access medical help in emergency

51:46
Are annual physicals something that everyone should get or is that at the discretion of the doctor?

55:29
I read in the news, the first batch of Covid vaccine has arrived. How is the Government planning to vaccinate people? Will we get it through our family doctor?

55:50
We have some slides on the COVID vaccine coming up!

01:00:20
My FD got upset that I went to a walk in to get the care that I needed and did not get from him. He insisted that I can't do that. Can he remove me from his care?

01:03:58
Can we call the crisis line on behalf of someone else?

01:05:34
Hi Lubna - yes, you can call the crisis number on someone else's behalf

01:07:32
Is there a limit to the number of issues you can discuss with your FD at a visit? Mine insists I can have one major and one minor, which means I have to visit again even if the issues are related. And that goes back to the point about an annual physical where I am expected to get those answered!

01:09:37
There are SO many sanitizers out there. Which ones would be better? I feel the ones in malls and all are not effective and they smell uugghh! Is there a standard for them?

01:10:26
Also how soon will the results be released after testing for Covid?

01:16:23
at least 60% alcohol based hand sanitizer

01:16:39
Thank you.

01:18:59
The wait times?\

01:19:05
IS it longer?

01:19:53
Thank you. It was very informative.
