Maranda Marketing and Communications VISTA w/Maryland MENTOR. I would like to learn ways to mentor Immigrant Youth especially during this time when it seems like the U.S doesn't want them* (College students with online classes not allowed to stay in U.S. Plus many more examples)***I realized my mistake which is bad because I should know better***

Keishia Thorpe, MD, Educator/Administrator. I own a international non-profit organization and I teach at an international school in MD so I hope to learn more about how to serve immigrant students and learning more about how to help them navigate their challenges especially with the current political climate. I also want to learn how to be a mentor to immigrants as well.

A nephew of mine who speaks 4 languages, said to his mother, "It must be hard to speak when you only know one language."

Not just separation from family but also reunification with family....

And lack of education - some have never been to school. Our schools don't do enough for these students.

How does this happen in the school? During lunch, after school? So many of our students cannot stay after school, especially in the winter when it is dark early - unsafe...
