as KMS students, do we have to apply for CMS or is it automatic?

Hello-If you student attends Kittredge, students will automatically come to CMS. If not, then a student has to apply to attend CMS through school choice.

If the tested gifted in third grade, do they carry that over to CMS?

At the moment lockers are not being utilized. It is not an option at the moment.

If students are identified as Gifted at Kittredge, then they will be identified as gifted at Chamblee MS.

Volleyball is a sport at CMS as well. Thanks for mentioning that.

Transportation provides us yearly with the bus route information (Pick up and Drop off times).

Can kids accelerate in math in 7th grade if they did not do so at Kittredge?

Students are not with their homeroom group throughout the day at CMS. For their core classes they are mixed with magnet students. During connections, they in classes are all other 7th grade students.

At the moment, students do not use the locker room to change for PE. Students do change their shoes for PE.

How will KMS students separated/blended with other students?

so for KMS kids coming to CMS so we need to select any courses or they are selected for them?

Is the yearlong options still available for those who already selected 9-week connections?

My son is currently at KMS. Do I need to register him in June/July? Do I need to take any action prior to the open house in August?
