My family had just moved to Eau Claire in May 1958. After the tornado, I was deathly afraid anytime there was a tornado warning . I remember driving with my family to see the destruction in the Colfax area and Irving Park.

Thanks so much for this presentation. I lived in Mondovi and I remember my dad driving us to see the devastation. One of the things I remember seeing is seeing a piece of straw driven through a tree trunk!
