Hi All, my name is Uzair Iqbal and I am total recycling nerd. So naturally I started an Instagram blog showing cool consumer products made from unique recycled things. Think, sunglasses made from coffee waste and bikes made from coffee pods. You can check it out at @shopdobara

Is there a reason that e-stewards standards was picked over R2 for electronics recycling? I'm looking into it for my company (ZTERS waste) and am curious...

Thank you Heather. The piggyback program seems really cool and helpful for the smaller counties to avoid as much time and resource that they might not have!

Do you anticipate the % of CO2e emissions in the upcoming study being similar to the 2009 study? 46% is significant! We're looking into a supply chain analysis and not sure what to expect.

what are some strategies King County has implemented to successfully reduce paper consumption?
Uzair Iqbal
01:04:44
I remember a while back that some printers wouldn't work with recycled printer paper or that settings need to be adjusted. Has someone come into similar challenges? It's maybe a minor question for this webinar🙃
Tom Gleason
01:07:09
@Uzair - good question - as I understand it from Travis County's printing team this was an issue back in the day when recycled paper was a new thing, but modern printers and modern paper don't seem to have issues anymore. If anyone else has input they're welcome to jump in
