Hi everyone! I’m Rebecca. I live in Bethel and have been an organizer with Bethel University since the beginning. In my day job, I’m a consultant and facilitator and spend a lot of time on Zoom too. I’m excited to learn more about what you all find challenging about Zoom, so we can better support Bethel University students.

I live in Weathersfield. I teach continuing ed for correctional professionals across the country. With COVID, we’ve transitioned to virtual training. I’ve used Webinar, but am interested in transitioning to Zoom. I want to become more familiar with the options and controls to keep my eight day course interactive and smooth.

Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm calling in from Bethel and am on the BU team. My understanding of Zoom is pretty basic, so I'm hoping to get a stronger grounding in using it so I can help with BU classes and maybe teach one online next year.

It did take me to eventbrite site first, if that helps...
Rebecca Stone

Jess and others - did it make you enter name/email and register again? We’re actively trying to troubleshoot this, so would love to hear what happened. (and thanks for being our guinea pigs!)

oh meant to say, because we use Google Meet :)
Rebecca Stone
01:49:01
One general tip: if there’s anything you can’t figure out how to do, open up Google and type in your question exactly. Most likely, you’ll go straight to a Zoom tutorial or message board where someone else has asked (and someone answered) the same question.

01:50:13
You can also find lots of video tutorials like this that will show a screen and the tools exactly from a user’s perspective.
