A number of small congregations of mostly seniors (75 years +) are planning for requiring proof of vaccination, but also having a livestream option for those who cannot/won't show, or who cannot attend (won't drive to Erev RH or Kol Nidre services).

If virus is aerosolized does 6 feet mean anything especially with singing. - Then you may want to consider not having singing or you will have to institute a policy of everyone wearing masks.

Rabbi Mimi Micner (she/her)

01:09:54
I will try to find out about the status of the Teshuva coming out about using tech and see if word will be going out soon
Rabbi Stephen Epstein
01:09:58
We use Zoom with all of our services and also broadcast on Facebook live. People on Zoom are interactive and do responsive readings. However, now that we have live services, we do not count them towards a minyan so we encourage everyone who is able to come in. But some congregants are either medically not able to show up or outside the area, so for them we will continue using Zoom. More inclusiveness.
Marilyn
01:11:00
Zoom allowed 72 hour meetings last year using a special sign up so there was one link for all of RH. I think USCJ coordinated. Will this happen again this year?
B'nai Hayim Beth Meier
01:11:52
