Our breed is about 5% dysplasia per OFA hips- how does this compare to the % when we started using OFA hips? Have heard it is about the same %?

How reliable are the patella exam results that receive good OFA ratings? I have had luxating Patellas out of “clear” parents.

There are a couple Wheatens with "forelimb anomalies". Wheaten people would be more familiar with the term fiddle fronts. I use forelimb anomaly as it's the term used by Newfies and other large breed dog clubs for front leg issues that require medical intervention. Both known cases required surgery, cut the ulna, let the radius grow. My puppy was diagnosed with retained cartilaginous core. Vet called my puppy his n=1, had not had this in a medium sized breed. Thoughts on potential root cause.

I heard avocado can cause nausea though my wheaten is on Dasequan and has no sign of nausea!

A dog with a short upper arm in relation to the shoulder will have gait anomalies, will that lead to elbow issues as the dog ages?

Is a dog with hip dysplasia in one hip only not both indicative of an injury rather than a genetic condition?
