Why is milk considered non-violent? If we don’t have loving farm milk available, would it be better to stick to plant based milk?

eggs that we eat are usually unfertilized

Clarifying Vedic perspective: If the Egg isn’t fertilized then no soul has entered. If the Egg is fertilized then there are the symptoms of life: Growing, etc. indicating the soul is there.

From Srimad Bhagavatam I understand, that the soul enters the sperm first, and therefore the egg is fertilized when the sperm enters the egg. My own conclusion: Still the egg is created by nature to create a living being, not for nourishment. When the egg is not fertilized, it is a form of waste. So why eat waste?

You were talking about food growing in rajas tamas and satva, can u talk about nightshades a bit more and is it ever ok to have them? Like potatoes or tomatoes? 😋

Dominick I found an amazing brand of ghee from India called Gir. They are a beautiful company who honors their cows deeply, allows all babies to feed first and only take the milk left over, and create the ghee in a ceremonial beautiful way. It’s helps me feel so much better about consuming because I know exactly how the cows are treated and the ghee is made.

I had Shingles and had to stop Nightshades also, as they also aggravate Auto-Immune diseases.
