Hi, I'm Sarah Crachiolo-Garcia from Los Angeles City College. I am a new faculty co-lead for Guided Pathways. Trying to learn from everyone so I'm excited to hear this conversation!

41:35
How is your college integrating Guided Pathways into the college governance structure to ensure long-term sustainability of GP efforts? If your work on GP started as a parallel structure, what progress have you made toward integration of efforts into existing governance structures? If your work on GP started as an integrated structure, what changes to governance structures / processes have you made as a result of Guided Pathways? What other governance considerations are being discussed at your college as the GP funding winds down this year?

53:17
Thank you so much for this space! Im curious to hear what tips you have for colleges that are trying to create a structure that supports GP while at the same time honoring the college’s unique culture

01:03:14
Right on Sarah very well said.

01:04:48
Thank you SO SO much! I have a meeting at 11:45 and sadly I need to step away from this conversation.

We are definitely paralyzed. I like this pancake metaphor.

01:11:34
We had job descriptions and hired them as overload

01:15:06
Susi you are awesome!

01:15:56
How many people do you have on success teams? We are worried that it is going to be difficult to have so many people to buy in to doing this work

01:16:32
Right now 4 per team (7 teams) Faculty member, Counselor, Data Coach and Student Navigator

01:16:44
Thank you!

01:18:42
I also encourage Academic Senates to reach out to your Classified Senates. Sometimes Classified Senates feel like they are overlooked and are hesitant to say advocate for themselves. Reaching out goes a long way to validate classified involvement.

01:19:12
Totally agree with Susi! We have a fantastic classified/faculty relationship, and it has paid off!

01:19:15
