Advisory vote has gotten a ton of opposition from Tim Iman folks so it was said to be highly unlikely to pass when we met with our senator this morning

we have a senator on Rules, her LA told us about all the emails, so we pushed our own local letter writing campaign with a call to over 40 members in her district.

How do you get the debrief meeting? Our meeting with Sen. Saldaña abruptly without really a goodbye, and we had to reach out via email to confirm that the note taker had .the information she needed for submitting a report. We had a few minutes after the Santos meeting which was nice. It would be great if that could be added to all.

Yes, Anne, I have heard that as well even from members. But, do we want to revisit the last legislative session votes on all issues on the ballot? It seems that it might be less expensive to figure out how to set up a website that sets up a simple way that could categorize the last session voting record on different issues.

Everything I attended was invaluable. I’ve always referred to League of Women Voters if I ever wasn’t sure about a ballot. I’d like to volunteer for the CIR & I’ll be asking friends to respond to bills on the legislative site.

I really loved the ally-ship session. Great participants with good information.

I wish there was voting rights for homeless. You can

homeless can vote. I put together docs for people who work with the homeless in Clark County to help them register and help people vote.

We went to a shelter for people who are homeless and held social-distanced voter registration last October.

I am starting a legislative accountability group in our LD to track and share the voting records of our local representatives. Has anyone done something similar?

Regarding ally-ship: so critical that more of us make our tents bigger, Easy to say but hard to do without "stories" that make it real. Great session.

My dad always told me to use General Mail if I found myself without an address. He did it in his 20s. Taught me a lot of lessons that ended up keeping me off the street.

I have several friends who have been homeless in spite of being college educated, in both cases, they have health problems that took them out of the economy.

The positive of the terrible year of 2020, we were forced to learn how to use Zoom and the internet technology!

As someone who has worked event coordination, I feel your exhaustion! Y'all did so well.

My mother grew up in the silent generation, raised her family in the era of the Kennedy Camelot, burned her bra, and took me to my first political rally with Shirley Chishom in 1972. I just donated to LWV in her honor, and I'm excited for our future for my feminist grandsons.
