Welcome! We will begin in 1 minute
Kenneth Roberts
09:48
Will the email only go to lead presenters or to the other presenters in our presentation?
Jennifer Padilla
10:29
The email will go to all presenters that are registered for the meeting, so if you have co-leaders, they will receive the invitation as well.
Kenneth Roberts
10:43
Thanks, Jennifer.
Jennifer Padilla
10:50
My pleasure!
Jen Fuchs, UNC
17:37
Can we have attendees rename themselves like in zoom if we want them to say their position or where they are from?
Jennifer Padilla
18:16
Yes, they can rename themselves as well!
Jen Fuchs, UNC
19:24
Thank you!
Kenneth Roberts
19:30
If we are presenting in more than one session, can we create more than one session-specific profile?
Jennifer Padilla
20:01
You only have one person profile, however, each session has it's own page to customize. Does that make sense?
Kenneth Roberts
21:06
I guess. We should reserve the session-specific information for the session-specific page: right?
Jennifer Padilla
21:31
Yes, that is correct! :-)
Chris Veit
24:55
Will slides automatically be uploaded to our sessions or will we be responsible for uploading them?
Jennifer Padilla
25:35
Slides will not be automatically uploaded. Any files that you would like made available to the attendees, you will be responsible for uploading them.
Chris Veit
25:48
Perfect. Thank you.
Namrata Ahuja
28:10
Is the pill function supposed to be for polling prior to the session? Or can it also be used during a session, like an alternative to poll everywhere?
Namrata Ahuja
28:13
*poll
Julie Kim
28:19
How do you integrate the polls into your slides/presentation?
Sahar Rooholamini (she/her)
28:23
During the session, will APA staff check the chats? Or should we designate someone else to help us check when we are speaking?
Jennifer Padilla
29:25
IT can be used during the session, you will have to do a split screen on your computer so you have your zoom meeting on one side and the platform on the opposite side. There are specific instructions for this in the virtual meeting speaker instructions.

30:32
Do the speakers sign in the same way for prerecorded sessions too?
Jennifer Padilla
30:33
RE: staff checking chats, they can! If you need them to keep an eye on the chats for you, that would be something you should let them know during your green room time. Otherwise staff will be there to look out for any tech specific chats
Jennifer Padilla
30:55
Yes, you will access all sessions the same way
Sahar Rooholamini (she/her)
31:12
Thanks so much. In prior conferences with Pathable, some attendees used both the session Chat box and the Zoom chat, hence my question. Appreciate it!
Jen Fuchs, UNC
35:01
If we need the staff member to send our participants to different breakout groups, will that be possible and how will that work?
Jennifer Padilla
35:13
yes, we can take care of that!
Jen Fuchs, UNC
35:32
is there a way to get more information on that for workshops?
Nadia Roessler De Angulo (she/her)
35:38
Could we go over poster presentation workflow and poster specifications?
Lisa Ayoub-Rodriguez
35:47
Are the poll results available after?
Lauren Nassetta
36:24
We have multiple presenters. Is it better for us to physically sit side-by-side on screen, or can we each be logged in individually?
Behnoosh Afghani
36:35
Will it be live zoom or do we upload the pre-recorded zoom presentation? If pre-recorded, do we just upload it as a file?
Jen Fuchs, UNC
36:43
When we are in breakout rooms, can the speakers go with them? Can the IT individual give a countdown of how much time is left in a room?
saba fatima
37:51
How do we share the pre recorded video via zoom?
Jennifer Padilla
44:10
Each presenter can login individually, no need for a group zoom! :-)
Nadia Roessler De Angulo (she/her)
48:37
Thank you! Are there any PHM poster templates available?
Jennifer Padilla
49:22
Poster instructions are available here: https://www.academicpeds.org/events/phmmeeting/phm-2021-faculty-information/, under the presentation preparation tab
Namrata Ahuja
50:37
Will the “zoom poll” function be active? Since zoom has their own in-app poll option too?
Namrata Ahuja
50:48
Got it, thanks!
Anna-Lena Lueker
51:22
For those who already had to send in powerpoint presentations (of an oral presentation) for review, when can we expect to get feedback to make adjustments if needed?
Anna-Lena Lueker
52:57
It’s for the conundrum. And perfect, thank you!
Julie Kim
53:49
are there any slide templates or backgrounds for the conference?
Julie Kim
54:16
Thx!
Julie Kim
54:50
my kitchen? :)
Tina Sosa
55:37
Thank you!
Chris Veit
55:41
