Schools cannot exclude a child from in person based on being able to unable to wear a mask, however, does that mean the school has to accommodate in the home school? Or will this lead to outplacement based on medical need
as an alternative to no mask, could we request accommodations for no masks at desks and only during transitions or short term unable to socially distance?
Can they exclude students from riding the school bus, little ones with autism that will not keep them on due to behavior issues?
will those types of accommodations exclude them from bus, recess etc
For students who require homebound, do related services count towards the 5 hours a week minimum instruction?
maybe i'm misremembering
Student has been homebound for a year now so will require much more than 5 hours, however the school is only providing 3.5 a week
Thank you so much for the information.
