I too surveyed the Homecraft members as Homecraft President, with the Acton Fair and the overall response was that they would not feel safe or confident to attend or be actively involved with entries or the public. Also most of our volunteers are seniors and either would not fee safe to volunteer or even attend. Subsequently the Board, of which I am a member, decided to cancel the fair.

Brigden - I think you have to maintain your grounds but cautiously

Brigden - does keep a $40,000 Reserve fund for prizes. We do also have projects such as roofs that need to be done and we have some partial grants that have to be completed or lose the $$$

If it's affordable, and the labour & materials are available, this is a great time to do upgrades & maintenance, rather than during the busy rental and event season.
