Great to see everyone!

19:14
Great to be here. I’m Brandon Griggs - Dean of Student Affairs at Texas A&M - Central Texas

Hello Cathy, Felice, and Candice! Great to "be" with you all again!

19:46
Hi, Jim Burton, Communication department at Salisbury University in Maryland

Elizabeth Bennion, Chancellor's Professor of Political Science and ADP Director at Indiana University South Bend.

*Kandace, I forgot the spelling of your name, but I certainly remember you! Thanks for all of your great work over the years. I am thrilled that our campus has the digital NYT program and especially appreciate the ability to log into the Times and read the article using a non-IU email and even our personal social media sites!

24:03
That is a wonderful feature, Elizabeth! I appreciate it!

25:36
I love the Podcasts!

28:50
This is the link to the Race Related newsletter: https://www.nytimes.com/spotlight/race

37:13
Could we get a link to the presentation to share with colleagues and the administrators we’ll be persuading?

38:35
Great question, Jim. Yes, I can send the recording and the slide deck at the end of the day.

41:03
Some of us need to RELAUNCH (and remind) students, staff, and faculty about this resource. That's one thing we are planning to do!

41:20
Excellent!

46:21
Yes! We'd love those launch resources! I'd also love to share her list of ideas for instruction with our faculty!

46:54
Sorry I had to join late, but I heard you discussing materials that could be incorporated on a library website, etc. to help with providing instructions to sign up for free access, etc. Is there a link for that? We'd like to do more promotion of this resource.

47:01
I'll see if we can get that list of ideas in a separate PDF, to make promotion easier.

47:13
Thanks!

59:30
Using the New York Times for a Black History course or Climate Change course, or Women's History course, or Political Controversies course would be a way for instructors to meet the student demand for FREE course materials (as long as we can collectively fund the Times program on our campus/university).

01:00:02
We have a course on the Sociology of Food. This would be a good fit.

01:05:37
We've done handouts, announcements in faculty senate, etc. but here in the library we get questions on access and how they can sign up. Any promotional materials would be appreciated.

01:05:42
I have to head to my 2pm meeting but thank you!

01:06:48
This correlates smoothly with education courses especially when teacher candidates need to situate themselves in current events to kind of center their identities as future teachers. Also fantastic for social studies methods courses

01:10:21
Yes! A brief video is a good discussion launcher for a course or student event.

01:11:04
Social media and APP options would be GREAT to advertise using GRAPHICS!

01:11:04
Found the link: https://www.nytimes.com/spotlight/race

01:11:17
Thank you so much Kandace! This has been really informative!

01:11:27
If you have those to share, that would be very useful.

01:13:30
Thanks! Knowing about the bookmark and permalink options is very useful!

01:16:04
THANK YOu!

01:16:09
Thank you!

01:16:24
Thank you everyone...sorry I came in late.
