@Matt – thanks for your question. Total amount of funding available for this third year of the Community Air Grants is $10 million, with tentative additional funds should they become available. However, no other funding has been allocated, so far, to this program.

If folks would like to get more involved in the flow of money, a good way to get involved is to provide input on the Investment plan, which identified priority investments. Investment recommendations identified in the Investment Plan do not guarantee funding but rather provide guidance to the Legislature on potential funding opportunities.The next Investment Plan is currently under development and workshops will be occurring later this summer/early Fall: https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/resources/documents/california-climate-investments-investment-plan

Why not have CARB just PROVIDE technical assistance for each grantee that needs it? like the SGC's TCC program for sustainable communities affordable housing( AHSC). for future reference.

Would like "formal" 617 communities to be co-convened with Air Grant communities to build shared understanding and to exchange best practices.

Very specific question: I’m looking at the Budget worksheet from the CARB RFP website. It says to look at the “Budget Items” and “Budget Template” tabs. There doesn’t seem to be a “Budget Items” tab. Am I missing something?

Hello Liz, in order to select a "Budget Item" you will need to select a "Budget Category". Each category will generate different budget items. The tab was removed when the Budget template was updated and instructions need to be edited.
