Thank you and all the legislators for all of your incredible hard work with all of the huge issues facing Oregon right now!

53:47
Thank you so much for supporting SB 554 for safe storage of guns and making the state capitol a gun free zone. Since 2018, I have been volunteering to lobby for climate action at the state capitol. Whenever the state capitol re-opens, that will help me and other citizen advocates to feel safer at the capitol to know it’s a gun free zone.

Thank you so much for being a co-sponsor on HB 2021, 100% Clean Energy for All. We really do appreciate your support on this important bill.

57:31
Support for HB 2002 to stop police fishing? Also the dental cleaning bolstering?

58:13
Thank you. We need to just keep redistricting on our radars.

Hello Rep. Julie Fahey! 2 constituents and I really enjoyed meeting with you on April 23rd to urge your support on climate resolution, SJM 5. It passed the Senate on April 7th with broad bipartisan support. It has been assigned to the Rules Committee since April 12th. We currently have 25 House co-sponsors for SJM 5, including 4 Republicans. Any chance that SJM 5 will be scheduled for hearing & work session very soon, since there’s only 3 weeks left in the OR Legislative session?

59:33
can you talk more about the fossil fuel reduction / climate change Bill that you said is in Ways and Means

01:02:28
Are there any updates on HB 2835 to provide Benefits Navigators on college campuses? Last I heard it was sitting in Ways and Means

He should be charged with a felony!

01:19:52
regarding police reform, sadly we have Floyd to thank. I’ve fought for reform for more than 60 years.

01:20:01
Thank you!

01:22:38
will Rep. Fahey be having local office hours after session is over

01:24:07
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question about SJM 5. Do let us know if there’s anything we can do to encourage the Rules Chair to schedule a hearing & work session.

01:25:03
Is there any additional discussion about Senator Heard being head of State Republicans?

01:26:54
Congratulation on the unionization of Legislative aides and staff.

01:27:46
Since this town hall is being recorded, will it be made publicly available?

Thank you so much for your time with this town hall and all of your hard work in the Oregon Legislature. As a climate organizer, thank you for co-sponsoring HB 2021. I am very worried about climate change so hopefully we can get a hearing & work session scheduled for SJM 5 in the Rules also. I really appreciated this time!
