*Occasionally* audio is released from a Supreme Court hearing on a major issue. I've heard a judge on a state appellate court suggest that televising proceedings would be a bad idea, because attorneys would be playing to the cameras.

I don't think opposition was telated to alternative meMore with concerns re costs and auditors neutrality about it wasn't a strong enough support for it. Also the DDems removed it from their 2020 platform so they are not pushing it or even hoping for it....
