Of course I mean them both! As a member of the NoVA branch I am strongly in favor of using our platforms to ensure there is wide awareness and appreciation of the work our branches are doing

I know it’s a little hokey but...what will be your top priority if you’re elected to the steering committee? With a focus on speaking to concrete goal/s that can be achieved in the 6/12-month short term to take advantage of the political moment we’re in.

From time to time, the Steering Committee will need to make political decisions about the chapter's activities rather than serving as a purely administrative body. For instance, the Steering Committee votes to endorse or not endorse events that other organizations are hosting. Members of Steering will also serve on the Political Engagement Committee, which will issue yes/no recommendations about whether the chapter should endorse candidates.Do you agree with the Steering Committee's role as a political body? And how will you handle these political questions that will inevitably come up during the next few months?
