In terms of data, how well are we preserving the genomes of our crops and the most diverse ones at that? The Svalbard Seed Bank is not enough. are we preserving digitized genomes?

What kind of technologies can we look to in order to help us with storage, supply chain, and distribution, to promote resilience planet side? What about looking to space food production technologies?

Africa needs to develop a system to evaluate its capacity to create new resources and to build new competencies. this process needs to replace the existing system that evaluates Africa's capacity to utilise existing resources

Agreed, Will. markets need to trust the source of their food. how do we increase adoption and uptake of engineered food? GROSS were an interesting marketing experience. also means of engineering cannot be concentrated in the hands of global conglomerates. there was a huge backlash against Monsanto. Need small producers involved and empowered.
