revelations--crystallisation of ideas and focus for the first time in many many years and an affirmation that my serendipity I am in the right place, time, space and workplace to leverage to make these differences. Also--finally--an idea for a novel that I can feel has been bubbling under the surface for many many many years.
Brian Ballantyne

This (textiles and clothing) is my industry - Nasreen has explained better than anyone else in the world could, how exploitative the industry is. Fast fashion and over consumption are doing this to millions of people. It's out of sight and out of mind - but it's going on and I'm so grateful to hear Nasreen explaining how it happens. It happens in the developed world too.

(My computer crashed at the last part of that) As someone who has worked in the Fashion industry for the last 8/9 years, hearing this last story really resonates with me. I’ve long wanted to step out of the high street, and especially distance myself from Fast Fashion which is destroying our planet from so many different aspects. It breaks my heart in an odd way when people are surprised to hear about current day slave labour as it shows there are not enough people talking and doing anything about it. Even when Boohoo were recently caught in UK what was done about it, no one stopped buying! It’s horrendous. But also the damage done to the planet ecologically is tremendous. Fashion is one of the worst offenders. After attending an aspire event earlier this year, I have begun to start my journey to try to positively improve my industry and hopefully do some good for the planet, by creating a sustainable fashion brand which is committed to using only sustainable processes! Creating product people feel good about

Books-new calling card today, Ariel is a book publisher, do not skip on professional editing!!! do not shop a manuscript to friends. This is our name, do due diligence, editing can be Expensive, but research, women authors rule! references/connections to self publishing, have to spend for some design, have it done well, layout is better-much better with pros, to a higher level/network/ look for genre specific anthologies, From Crappy to Happy Anthology, super networking with each other (WE COULD DO THIS TOGETHER!)
