Good morning! Please use the chat for any questions you may have during the presentation.
Heather Perez Riff
21:30
Is this presentation available to print out?
Cindy Lombardi
21:59
CDE will be publishing the powerpoint
Ann Zeches
23:02
You all will do the purchase orders correct?
Cindy Lombardi
23:51
If you selected CDE Procurement, yes. If reimbursement to you, then you would issue any purchase orders.
Kim Johnson
24:08
Is the first reimbursement deadline May 1, 2021?
Brittany Shores
25:15
I will cover that shortly :)
Megan Turilli
26:00
Will we get a copy of this presentation?
Megan Turilli
27:04
Thanks!
Nicole Witcher
28:32
If we already submitted our application with payroll expense reimbursement, will that be rejected? Are we allowed to update to a different expense reimbursement since payroll expenses are not allowed?
Nicole Witcher
28:45
Are costs for zoom education allowable?
Lisa Stroll
30:53
Do we need to submit multiple quotes to CDE or just the final quote?
Cindy Lombardi
33:51
We will get to these questions in a moment
Steve Vaughan
34:40
If we are contracting through a 3rd party for reimbursement, should they be the authorized representative or should it be someone with the school?
Jennifer Austin
35:09
We will only accept RFFs from the authorized entity, the NPS not the contractor, as our relationship is with the school.
Brittany Shores
36:32
The Authorized Rep should be someone at the school since they are the grantee
Lisa Stroll
40:43
Do we acquire multiple quotes?
Colleen McManamon
41:48
What’s a p-card?
Lisa Stroll
49:48
Should we submit those quotes prior to finding out about our approval?
Cindy Lombardi
50:54
If you submitted supplemental information like quotes with your application, we will accept it. If not, you can wait until we contact you or your application is approved.
Heather Perez Riff
52:09
Once our application has been approved are we able to add any new items to our budget that were originally not included?
Kyle Hubbart
52:56
If we have submitted the Budget with Procurement option can we change that to Reimbursement. Reimbursement sounds like it may be simpler
Robin Schneider
53:10
At any time, will non-public schools be required to pay any of this back?
kimberly smith
53:47
Ditto Kyle’s question. We thought if it was to be purchased post April 12th, it had to be procurement…
Weston Kurz
56:14
Will you be discussing the process for engaging additional staff funding. We have requests for this in our application. For example paying for a long term sub to help ensure teaching continuity due to sickness. This has been invaluable with our local district ESSER funding.
Daniel OBrien
57:06
What about PPP, such as disposable masks? I assume you don't want those back!
Lisa Stroll
57:20
Are quotes allowed to include the cost of warranties and the like or only the device itself?
Nicole Witcher
58:03
what about costs for zoom education to facilitate online learning? Allowable for reimbursement?
Ann Johnston
58:27
How long can we keep chromebooks? Just until 2023 or the end of their useable life?
Lisa Stroll
58:59
If warranties not included, who takes care of repair work if it is necessary while we have the devices
Jennifer Austin
01:00:07
IF there is an unused lot of supplies which the value is greater than $5000, there are additional federal requirements for reimbursement to the federal government. (2CFR200.314a). Best practice is not to overpurchase and build a really large 'stockpile'.
Lisa Stroll
01:00:42
Can I please get clarification on the warranty and repair information?
Steve Vaughan
01:00:49
I need to step away - thank you all for the information. It is appreciated.
Kyle Hubbart
01:02:06
So you are saying future purchases MUST be procurement?
Heather Perez Riff
01:02:21
Thanks!
Megan Turilli
01:05:09
Can you please repeat what steps need to be taken after 2023?
Lisa Stroll
01:06:04
If not in our application, and we have to change our numbers to ensure devices have the warranties on them, can we?
Lisa Stroll
01:07:11
But could we change our numbers ?
Lisa Stroll
01:07:17
To make it allowable?
Lisa Stroll
01:07:27
Or to fit in our award?
Lisa Stroll
01:09:37
Thank you
Megan Turilli
01:12:11
Awesome, I really appreciate it!
Weston Kurz
01:12:40
