i’d love a list of the resilience stories you recommend
“A healthy man wants a thousand things, a sick man only wants one.” Confucius.. i have this quote noted, but not sure where i pulled it from
So very impressive. So easy to say to live every day as is your last, be positive, etc. But having tools to really live life like that is powerful. Great talk. Thanks!
The Conscious Parent: Transforming Ourselves, Empowering Our Children https://www.amazon.com/dp/1897238452/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_1FS7D2QBN84YJHNZ9717Blas mentioned the importance of taking that critical self-check before reacting. This book has been super valuable to me as I continue my parenting journey because it outlines the notion that if we are either conscious to our reactions/emotions/behaviors we are unconscious to them. This perspective has helped me really understand how to not react, but respond.
“Whether you’re the queen or the pawn, at the end of the game all the pieces end up back in the same box.”
WONDERFUL STUFF!!!! Thank you Jon
in case you don't know this method, this is great: pay someone to call you and ask you these daily questions https://www.marshallgoldsmith.com/articles/questions-that-make-a-difference-the-daily-question-process/
This should be turned into a podcast so many more people can benefit from this talk
Totally agree. This should be shared widely
if jon is open to it, we'll share this far beyond lattice
Yes, this so inspiring and brilliantly shared that it would be a shame that someone out there, outside The latticework, does not get ‘saved’ by Jon’s story, insight and perspectives
Thank you! LOVED this and grateful I got to hear your story today, it very much resonated. I will be thinking about your ideas
caro - turn every damn page
