will a recording or pdf of this be available later, on your website? if so, where should we look. Thanks!

38:07
Hi Betsy - yes the recording will be available. A link will be sent to those that registered for this webinar and will be posted on the Alliance's website.

40:32
could you go back to tips slide please?

40:45
Do you anticipate this being an annual grant?

41:17
How many applicatiosn do you typically get?

41:43
would you support folks who are starting a land trust but are not yet organized that way? and would you fund folks who are looking for models for land reform leading to land trust in areas with high inequality in land ownership?...

42:43
There was mention of communication as part of the planning grant, but it seemed to refer to internal comms- would a stakeholder outreach tool such as a GIS storymap (provided it is consistent with the larger grant goals) fit within this criteria?

43:20
To clarify: is the technical support through OSI only available to the eastern states geographical region?

44:25
+1 Karl.

44:40
Andrea: The technical support is only available to land trusts that meet Land Trust Alliance's eligibility criteria, but it is not limited to Eastern States

45:59
Karl: a GIS storymap or other external outreach/communications projects that meet the other criteria for the program are eligible.

47:25
Betsy - you would need to be an established land trust to be eligible for LTA funding but depending on your legal structure you may be eligible for OSI. If you are not in OSI's region of focus you may need to partner with an established land trust to apply.

48:31
If we are awarded an OSI grant - how soon do we have to produce deliverables? Is there a time limit? 12 months, 18 months, 24 months? Thanks.

50:04
Shane: Typically projects should be completed within 12 months from the start of the grant term, and we are asking that projects begin in 2022. If that timing will pose a challenge, we often offer some flexibility.

53:16
Would passive climate strategies be less competitive? Such as carbon sequestration or runoff diversion based on trees and other land cover on conservation lands, as opposed to something like wetland restoration.

01:02:04
Our interest would be focused on helping municipalities ID nature-based project opportunities that also align with their stormwater management programs (e.g., flood plan restoration or naturalized basins that capture/slow runoff). Would such a project ID plan that was later directed at emerging federal infrastructure funds be a good candidate for OSI grant? We would link more specific munic plan(s) with an academic group doing broader modeling in the watershed to investigate flood mitigation projects.

01:06:55
Thank you!

01:09:45
Just clarifying- what types of grants are open to tribes?

01:10:06
Could you give a general example of how engagement with indigenous persons would be a relevant submission?

01:10:33
I apologize if I missed this, what kind of follow-up reporting is required if we are awarded a grant?

01:12:57
will you include the 'office hours' date/times in the follow-up e-mail? thank you, this was super helpful and informative!
