Can we be on both roads at the same time?

I think we move back and forth between the roads, even as we strive to stay on the road of redemption.

In our society, accountability is important. God is the ultimate judge, but we are also trusted with discernment..which can be tough. How do we reconcile this?

We choose which road to travel daily. Which one is least traveled?

So then, we must be intentional about traveling on the right road that leads to life! Even if we get off on the wrong road, we must acknowledge it, and make the necessary turn around. Where we may not have the strength, God can strengthen us to move onto the right road!

I believe our primary way of witnessing is through the small acts of kindness we show to our brothers and sisters - I think the pandemic has brought many opportunities for that to the forefront.

I think the world's perception is that the church ought to be present to guide to the road of redemption; however, because we've set aside our sense of accountability to Christ, we've put the world in a venerable place of punishment.

When we walk in our own way rather than God's way, we can lead others away from redemption, as well as ourselves.

Give God the first hour of your day and let God speak first by devotionally reading Scripture. I started getting up an hour earlier in 2013 to do that.

Moving from trying to tell the scripture what it says vs learning what it says

Other foundation elements: Scripture, Tradition, Experience, Inspiration and Reason

Yes, and EVERYONE has a story worth hearing

When we listen to each other's stories, we can find commonalities that we wouldn't have otherwise.

And just as Jesus included women and other marginalized people, the Methodist church should learn from Him and include our homosexual friends and family!

Grow in faith. We can't control all things. But God can take our stumbling blocks and turn them into stepping stones.
