Wednesday LTC Provider Call - DPHS - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
Thanks for that Kristie, much appreciated.
Is that just for LTC's or ALF's as well?
Please speak to the DPH Lab Portal
Can you restate which counties are still green?
DOES OUTBREAK TESTING HAVE TO BE np OR CAN WE USE ANT NARES
How many days prior to tests being sent to the lab can they be obtained? Also, do the tubes need to be refrigerated once the specimen is taken and placed in the tube?
Can we get an update on Electronic Lab Reporting and when the state will be ready to receive?
If we are not in outbreak mode but have a staff or resident that is having symptoms do we still use NH public Health and do we send paper rec and call or order online will automatically send a pick up?

Sorry everyone! :(
The CDC released new quarantine timelines but it seemed based on peoples ability to tolerate quarantine rather than risk of spread. Is this a safe timeframe and does NH plan to change their timeframes to align with CDC?
In regards to the vaccine, it was mentioned that ACIP would have some guidelines regarding timing of receiving the vaccine if you had COVID. Any update at this time?
Are assisted livings included in 1a?
what about pediatric long term care facilities
Where do those living or working in Certified Residences for those with I/DD fall in terms of vaccines?
I have heard conflicting guidance from PCP's regarding household outbreaks occurring sequentially. Do the recovered individuals (post 10 day onset of sx. or test result) need to now quarantine post isolation, when another person in household has active symptoms and has tested positive.
speak to those who have had positive Covid tests or symptoms and vaccine.
Independent Living residents in CCRCs in phase 1a?
Why are PTs/OTs not considered at "most risk"? Those who work in LTCFs and in home care are very "hands on" and are in direct patient contact.
will the vaccine be beneficial to those who already had Covid-19?
Are Assisted Living communities included
Stagger shots…..I will struggle if everyone calls off sick same time.
In what phase would people over 65 with co-morbidities who are living at home be vaccinated?
What is PPP?
Is there a contraindication to receiving the COVID vaccine if the individual has an allergy to flu vaccine?
For those homes that thought they may want to stagger giving the vaccine, how long will the vaccine be able to be stored; I assume not long because of the temp. needed for storage??
Are any family members of staff included for 1a vaccination?
Would Independent living communities (staff and residents) associated with AL be included?
I believe you may have said this so my apologies. Is the COVID vaccine recommended for individuals that have previously tested positive for COVID?
Toni Hanson - Bel-Air Nursing and Rehab, Goffstown
Is vaccine distribution dependent upon LTCF which have had outbreaks versus facilities which haven't had any cases?
Is there a known recommendation for vaccination of residents or staff who have "recently" been infected with COVID?
To clarify, can someone be vaccinated if recently infected? And if yes, is there a timing recommendation?
Peabody Home Administrator
Just share with Dr. Talbot that there is another PPP that many providers are also participating Paycheck Protection Program.
Sylvia Dow, Visions
Is there an application for the PPP program for vaccines? If so, where can I find the application.
CDC vaccine information for HCP: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/index.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fvaccines%2Fcovid-19%2Fvaccination-resources.html
Will facilties in current Outbreak Status be delayed in vaccine distirbution?
Will qualified Health Care workers have the option to receive the vaccine from our PPP and/or local health clinics when these clinics become available?
Any thoughts on saliva covid test testing? vs nasal swab? It is available through Vault.
i am - can you hear me?
