51:10
Is this overview training available for organization employees?

52:50
Check out https://nj.gov/labor/myleavebenefits/

54:13
what happens when you want to take 6 weeks initially should you wait until the six weeks are over to submit the claim? The reason I ask is if you sign the form and the dates are later then the signature date it is considered "ineligible". Why have a claimant wait?

55:02
How often are you paid for intermittent leave?

55:15
Is there only 1 phone number for the whole state?

55:41
How does this work for an employee who needs time off for a disabled child's medical appointments and may not need entire days but appointment and procedure times?

55:59
How does an employer's 100% paid parental leave coordinate with state paid FLI benefits?

57:13
If you started out using Full time leave then the situation changed and you only were needed on an intermittent basis, how much time do you get?

57:31
earned sick leave could work for that situation right?

58:37
not really

58:51
Is there just one number to contact the state

59:05
that answer about parental leave did not make sense

59:41
Norma- can clarify your question so I can better answer it?

59:43
Coleen, you can reach out

01:00:10
Email us afterwards perhaps providing more details.

01:05:03
What is the difference between FLMA and Family Leave?

01:05:31
My daughter just got out of her 4th hospitalization this year and her nurse is coming at 11 so I apologize that I have to leave then. Thanks all.

01:06:41

01:07:12
@Ellen-thank you.

01:08:36
@Lisa FMLA is Family Medical Leave Act, federal and unpaid. NJ Family Leave Insurance is state and paid.

01:09:36
I forgot to share my email- Rebecca.Glinn@dol.nj.gov.You can email me with your questions about Family Leave Insurance and NJ Earned Sick Leave! Thanks for your great questions.

01:10:49
Thank you Rebecca! Sorry to rush you :)

01:20:59
How does an employer's 100% paid parental leave coordinate with state paid FLI benefits? We do not pay FLI benefits during the period your employer is paying you your regular wage through paid time off or parental leave. After the employee exhausts the paid time off/parental leave from employer, employee can file for FLI benefits and will be eligible for 84 continuous days or 56 intermittent days as long as the child has not turned 1 year old yet. This does not however guarantee job protection and employee should make sure with employer that employee is covered under FMLA and NJFLA for that period of time.

01:22:30
Marianne Keehn, You answered my question. Thank you.

01:22:58
What is the difference between FMLA and Family Leave?Thank you Lauren for answering! Just to add... FMLA protects your job and Family Leave Insurance does not.

01:24:23
An employee can be eligible for paid family leave benefits but we cannot assure that your job is protected.

01:24:53
