treatment of children in school systems
Life after Death still not accessible
You will just have to stick around for a bit longer Jerry!!
Politics - Corruption
There are many injustices, but the one that most concerns me is the injustice being done to children by conventional schools. If we done treat young people as full human beings, we cannot expect to have the adult population we need.
I think the core of it is still education
Talking down to young people - “school” disease!
Racism and Gender Violence and discrimination.
Kids being Abandoned :(
COP26 is happening here in Scotland - politicians who promise one thing and do another.
Prison system (c, age 11)
A poster about talking down to children:
I grew up in a family and town full of domestic workers. seeing how they were/are treated by wealthy employers makes me angry
very true Jason
Someone used the word “kid.” I find it demeaning. What do you think?
ARTIVISM! Love it!!!!
I've never heard of Artivism!
Nina Simone and George Orwell - what great role models - they’d both be on my short list!.

Surprised to see Karl Marx and DuBois on the same slide. Awesome!
Good Afternoon from Nigeria,I am Oluwatobiloba Adebayo, please would the recording be available after this session?
“I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free” - sung by Nina Simone with Billy Taylor on piano.
Shirley Graham wrote books in the 1950's for young readers of important Black US historical figures
Great presentation Erioluwa. Apologies - I have to leave to become an activist at a COP26 demonstration organised by young people in my local city of Brighton. I’ll probably be the oldest young person - 82 next birthday. Hope to see you tomorrow.
I have loved this!!! It's been a beautiful presentation. I have to go but I'll be back later. Bye for now :)
I also like the work that Rosa Parks did.
Is. the slideshow going to be made available
Thank you !
Thank you I’d love the slides as well! Would we have permission to share the presentation with others?
Absolutely, with acknowledgment! Thank you!
This meeting was very interesting!
Here’s something that youth activists may appreciate. I shared it earlier, but I don’t think you all got it.
Thanks for the presentation.I was at Eugene, Or WHO protests, Chicago protest against Iraq War, and NY and Chicago Occupy protests. It was surprising how many people were that were there for alternative causes reasons.
Agreed, Cheryl - I’d like the slides as well :)
Thank you so much! This was wonderful
Where would we find the slideshow
You can take whatever strengths you have and find an activist archetype that fits you personally. So cool!
Malala Yousoufzai was not mentioned. She won a noble peace prize.
Thank you so much for such a great presentation!
That was amazing Erioluwa!! Thank you and everyone who helped put this together at YouthxYouth! I’m definitely going to come around for the monthly meetings to connect more

It was a VERY englighting experience!!
Infinitely valuable informational tools here - thank you so much!!!
I am feeling pumped up and fired up.
Great question Heather <3
this has been really inspiring
I very much like the descriptions of different types of activists. As Grace said, there is a general impression that an activist needs to be front line, but there are other ways to fight a cause.
Thanks Erioluwa! Thanks everyone :)
