Q: Should businesses start looking to Snapchat as a place to create and maintain a presence? Given its growth.

24:43
Q: Relatedly, should organizations that have focused on Facebook be prepared to switch their focus to Instagram? Or at least shift some of their focus?

25:55
For everyone - this presentation and recording, as well as previous learning sessions' presentations and recordings are available here - https://www.bridgealliance.us/learning_sessions

36:57
I have to hop off for my next meeting but great presentation Nick and thank you Jeremy and Brian for setting this up! Looking forward to the deck.

37:07
Thank you for coming, Linda!

39:44
do live videos get a better reach than edited and uploaded videos (on Instagram)

41:34
we’ve noticed a big difference on FB between live video and uploaded - much better reach

41:35
I usually schedule one post per day for all of our platforms. Do you have a recommended # of posts per day to increase engagement?

44:42
Q: Are schedulers like Hootsuite de-prioritized by Facebook and Twitter?

45:17
Q: We’re doing much of what you recommend but are increasingly struggling to make it into enough feeds to get any real lift from our FB posts. This has gotten increasingly worse over a couple years but particularly bad during the pandemic. Any tips? (Also usually can’t boost anymore as content can SOUND political to whatever screener bot they use, even when we try and to avoid it).

46:19
@Liz we've seen the exact same thing with Facebook. I think they're suppressing posts from pages generally (in order to encourage pages to pay to boost posts). It's unfortunate. I've heard similar comments from other nonprofits :(

47:53
Facebook is absolutely squeezing pages for revenue.

47:55
Yeah, they seem to be accidentally hurting civil society that would solve some of their polarization problems — they ought to prioritize bridge building groups

47:59
As a reminder, if you're a member organization, Nick and the Nevins team is available for consultation on social media and PR more generally. That is a benefit of membership.

48:34
wonderful! thank you!

49:41
Nick can be reached at nhoran@nevinspr.com

49:57
Q: What are reasonable and achievable marketing goals for social channels? I’m thinking about strategic goals such as lead generation, revenue, donations, advocacy, etc.

50:38
Nick has helped Bridge Alliance with our social media strategy and has been a great help! Thank you Nick!

51:42
What are the hoops one must jump through to escape social, election, political fences?

52:35
I will also save the questions from this chat and make sure they get answered.

57:23
I gotta hop to another meeting, but thanks for this! Looking forward to receiving the recording and slides later. Thanks so much Jeremy, Nick, and Brian! :)

57:31
(In my indy consultant work, I’m constantly resisting the directive to chase likes without an underlying strategic objective.)

58:50
Nick can be reached at nhoran@nevinspr.com

01:01:42
Are FB Business Suite or FB Creator Studio a challenge too reach?

01:02:01
Definitely want to hear more about boosting at a future session

01:02:45
We will make that happen.

01:05:24
thank you!!

01:05:38
I would love to hear specifically about nonprofits and social media usage!
