For the relay, I thought that a swimmer can leave the block, but not touch the water before the incoming swimmer touched the wall?

According to the video, the swimmer must touch the wall before the next swimmer’s feet leave the block…

Lauren, they can start to lean in for the take off, but they have to remain in contact with the block.

False starts fall-in: One falls in, DQ, more than one, restart with no DQ, yes?

John, am I correct in that you need to be a stroke and turn official for two years before becoming a starter/referee?

if there are only 2 officials, 1 at each end...do you watch 3 lanes all the way down or do you watch all 6 lanes half way down?

B division is using four stroke and turn and a separate starter and referee - Jess La Grou

Should be have a head timer? or are we foregoing that position this year?

Can head timer have two watches and jump in as 3rd in case of a record?

John there is a typo in the officials briefing you put on the webpage for the backstroke as it states you MAY be totally submerged during the finish.

Official should communicate DQ to referee only, not discuss with swimmer, correct?

John, for a DQ if the referee doesn’t see your hand, it is on the S&T official to get their attention before the next start correct?
