Annual General sounds better
Erika Clough
01:14:41
"No felony or misdemeanor convictions on record."
Walter White - Treasurer
01:17:34
Thanks for the suggestions Erika!
Erika Clough
01:18:50
That's a good point as you don't want to discourage volunteerism. I think it makes it clear you are talking about BOD and committee members.
Erika Clough
01:36:40
Also, sometimes we park there temporarily to move, delivery vehicles, or even overflow if you have guests for a gathering or something and you live on a cul de sac and it does not bother the neighbors.
Erika Clough
01:37:45
Rachel had said we should not make rules we cant enforce. So should we do this? Maybe just awareness is better?
Erika Clough
01:39:10
The newsletter.
Erika Clough
01:39:23
Ask the membership to consider it, limit it.
Erika Clough
01:40:30
Down at Sunset beach it would be nice if the No Parking signs just went away so we can expand the parking lot down there.
Walter White - Treasurer
01:40:53
I think Sunset is to allow Fire Trucks to get down there?
Walter White - Treasurer
01:41:09
We have overflow parking just up the road
Erika Clough
01:41:43
Then should it be marked as a fire lane. It is a popular beach and never enough parking so everyone does it anyway. IF it was marked as a fire lane, then maybe it would be violated less.
Walter White - Treasurer
01:41:51
Plus it can block using the boat ramp for boat/trailer trucks
Walter White - Treasurer
01:42:15
I think it normally has a red line (Fire lane?)
Walter White - Treasurer
01:42:55
Good points. GM@Clearwood.org next week could clarify for you
Walter White - Treasurer
01:43:00
She's on vacation this week!
Erika Clough
01:54:34
If the temporary carport is temporary and/or meets the RV screening requirement for setback and visibility, why cant it be there in the Winter? I am still confused on this.
Walter White - Treasurer
01:55:54
Erika - this is a big giant issue. Been going on for months. The idea in my opinion is that we don't want this place to become a Nisqually pines - where people are living in things that aren't homes
Walter White - Treasurer
01:56:08
But what do I know?
Walter White - Treasurer
01:56:14
The experts are discussing
Erika Clough
01:56:40
Sure, but wasn't the person upset covering their commuter vehicles they use every day on the side of their house?
Erika Clough
02:00:23
If the tent falls in the same guidelines as a screened RV in the WInter, then why not?
Walter White - Treasurer
02:04:17
Erika - we are stuck with the covenants. it will take something like 1000 members to vote to change the covenants. We never get more than 300 to vote. Plus covenants can only be changed every so many decades. It's quite complicated
Erika Clough
02:05:44
Can't we screen those for vehicles like an RV shelter then if it meets that set of requirements?
Erika Clough
02:13:43
Its more stuff to try to police and enforce. We still have a speed limit whether its a car or a golf cart or an ATV.
Erika Clough
02:15:10
Agree thought about insurance savings for sure!
Walter White - Treasurer
02:16:17
our annual policy is huge for this community. $40-50K if I'm correct? I'd have to look it up
Erika Clough
02:17:37
Sure would help. January right after Christmas is a terrible moth for a big bill. Or try quarterly> Maybe in 4 chunks.
Erika Clough
02:18:32
Quarterly with the quarterly water bill. We pay 4 times per month.
Erika Clough
02:20:02
I think quarterly would be well received since we are already having to pay our water each quarter.
Walter White - Treasurer
02:20:37
Erika - please come to the 19JUL Finance Meeting 530pm-730pm
