V.8 – He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

right.. time andtime again he told them what he expects from His people and they refused.. they are bitter and resentful

Are we giving freely that which was given to us by God?

sometimes emotions and selfishness gets in the way.. when these get the best of us we lash out in ungodly ways

I tried that, what feels good to the flesh is not right, because my spirit was grieved, and that's not a good feeling for real because my spirit man is the real me.

Jesus, Others, Yourself = JOY -- keep this order and focus on serving & you will become joyful in time!

Ask Him to reveal the root of the problem - it starts with repentance!!!

We are so far from those agriculture roots: the sacrifice of the best for remission of the worst, might have been some meals--maybe. But moreso, a perfect breeding animal that would reproduce many more 'best' offspring...exchanged for the replication of our worst.

Love the analogy! Meet us where we are, make it plain!

The world's calibration is so out of whack.

it's wrong for riches to have you, God wants us prosperous so we can fund the Kingdom of God.

well this is a lesson I never knew existed.

Sometime the lesson is not understood until later in life but our job is to preserve in taking the next right step in our walk with Jesus! Stay Strong - JESUS STRONG!!!

So true Nick - Jesus has a big chisel to carve out the root of sin so that we can continue to take one more step to Freedom in Him!!!
