Public Financing of campaigns is the democratic way.

The power given to corporations is the result of earlier Court decisions, from Buckley and Bellotti in the '70s and, in particular, the Santa Clara railroad cases in 1886.

Plutocracy leads to kakistocracy

A constitutional convention might be very dangerous. Every state gets on vote. Wyoming and California have equal votes — One vote. A convention would have a majority of conservatives, who would want pass a “Balanced Budget” amendment.

The right wing "Freedom Foundation" wants a constitutional convention because they think they can clearly control what gets changed. Have to fix democracy first before any constitutional convention.

Any decent pollster will try to correct for non-answering phones, but the polls sometimes to not feature their adjustments nor their uncertainty bounds.
