If we have time it would be good to discuss the current fight to block a 300 foot communications tower that Bug Tussel is planning to put up alongside the west shore of Island Lake off of Fallon Road. Dennis Reuss is engaged in the fight but not sure how aware the broader community is. The Boulder Broadband project neuters the need for a speculative tower in the community of this size.

When will we know if our address will be serviced in phase 1 or 2?
PatrickDonoghue
01:08:57
Question for Bill - how many of the 695 initial sign ups are not part of Phase 1&2? I didn't see Wild Rice Lake or North/West shores of Island Lake in Phase 1 or 2.

Surely they expect us to sign up for the monthly rate for at least a minimum amount of time to qualify for this free installation. What is the amount of time?
PatrickDonoghue
01:24:11
Will the sign up demand alter who is included in Phase 1? If you have weak demand from a certain area included in Phase 1 will you swap that area out for an area with high demand sign up that wasn't originally included in Phase 1?

01:36:28
If we won't know what the minimum monthly service time will be until next month, after we have already signed up for free installation, will we be able to change our minds?
Bonnie

Wow! Thank you to all the folks who have put in so much hard work and time for the benefit of our town and all it’s residents. Amazed and thankful.
PatrickDonoghue
01:38:07
When will those not in Phase 1 start paying for this project via our property tax bills given the funding that has been approved by the town? I assume we will see a property tax bill increase prior to non-Phase 1 homes getting the service? (I think this was addressed in the original informational meetings prior to the town vote, just want to confirm nothing has changed). And finally a big thank you to the volunteers who have invested a lot of time in this project!

I agree, Its always abut money for the service provider. they wont bring service for peanuts in return. I'm glad boulder is above the curve
