What is your alternative to saying we are "doing school." I've done it wrong, communicated it poorly - for too many years. Help! 😂 We are on a beautiful and needed summer break. We will amp back up on late August/early September. Any suggestions for how to phrase our learning in a way that takes the school mindset out of it?

Rebekah, I haven't figured it out quite yet, but so far just sitting down while they eat breakfast with a book to read out loud is very successful. We're also transitioning to unschooling, so there aren't worksheets or assignments in our near future. We also have project time where I'm available to help them with whatever they're doing (art, games, crafts, music, etc.)
