Greetings from Sofia, Bulgaria. So excited that the wait is over and the 2023 MLI Conference is now happening! The only thing better would be to be with all of you in person but appreciate the chance to attend and participate this way :)

Great question Aidan, but a HUGE one! We won't have time to answer it now but maybe in the afternoon..

Some great ideas - A MLI day in schools would help to support the good work that happens in schools and provide a focus for learning activities

A question to all in the panel from Eugenia Siapera: I really enjoyed hearing your contributions! I wonder what your thoughts are regarding a movement from literacy towards (critical) pedagogy? Can media literacy exist outside a broader discussion about citizen pedagogy?

Media literacy doesn’t stop with young people of course - older audiences need / want ongoing media literacy. [a growing cohort of western populations]. The civic health model helps here. Any experience with that space?
