Was in a cohort with Kettering with others to start a "center for public life"--we started the Communication Leadership Lab at Frostburg State in Western Maryland. https://www.frostburg.edu/academics/colleges-and-departments/department-of-communication/frostburg-dialogue/home.php

I'll chime in too that I know some ADP campuses which have been using NIFI guides and Kettering resources are beginning to use CDI's Perspectives as part of an exploratory cohort. I hope that ADP cohort members will be able to explain how these areas can "play" together, as Mike is describing.

Linking dialogue and deliberation to civic engagement can link it to both Academic and Student Affairs. Teamwork skills focus is great to emphasize too. Cross-generational communication is also supported (like the cross-hierarchy communication you mention--we could use this training and practice in our organization!). Yes, deans, please support this work! My interim dean shared this event link with me.

Thanks John! If we can be helpful, as a thought partner or supporter, just let us know. We're looking into building a cohort of campuses next year who are interested in doing this campus-wide strategy work, so if that might be of interest to you (or others), feel free to reach out: mike@constructivedialogue.org
