Anna Mills
04:32:57
I have a colleague who put in a request for a new instructor account a few days ago—they’re just wondering when they might be able to get started. Is there an official LibreTexts point person for that?
Jennifer Moorhouse
04:33:02
I am in my sandbox, and I don't see it either.
Bridget Bousquet-Heyne
04:33:06

Jeannette, I think your screen is too scrunched maybe and that's why you can't see the words?
delmar@libretexts.org
04:35:06

Alan Keys
04:35:57
Only seeing course trial in mine and not the book I created earlier
Paul Seeburger
04:36:37
Alan, did you refresh the page? Ctrl-shift-r (cmd-shift-r on Mac)
Christopher Smith
04:37:00
It is just not creating the NEW book for me
Alan Keys
04:38:08
Yes.
Alan Keys
04:40:59
At some point, can you review how to move book into Course folder
Paul Seeburger
04:42:39
I recommend that you actually save a page when you create it so these tags get processed first.
Paul Seeburger
04:43:22
Then you can edit the page and those tags won't display again. And they will have set the page up correctly.
Abigail Bravo
04:43:50
thanks!
Christopher Smith
04:47:05
you are going a bit fast for me
Juanita Hester-Haynes
04:48:23
I believe this is okay if you do not have a LMS.
L. Jeanette Green
04:49:05

Juanita Hester-Haynes
04:49:27

Thank you Sylvie
Yvonne Reed
04:56:41
nice!
Buzz Piersol
04:58:58
When I try to edit a forked page, I only see some chat bubbles about the Forking and Content Reuse Link but no content to edit.
Alan Keys
04:59:52
How is the licensing attribution handled in this example?
Yoshie Hagiwara
05:00:40
Can we use the auto-caption by YouTube or does it have to be specific CC?
Paul Seeburger
05:00:42
YouTube videos are all captioned automatically.
Suzanne Wakim
05:01:06
Autocaptions don't count - they need to be accurately captioned (which requires editing of the autocaptions).
Mong Kon Mo
05:01:10
Most of them are. It depends on the person uploading the video to YouTube.
Anna Mills
05:01:22
I believe for accessibility we need to proof the automatic captions and fix any errors so the content is equivalent for students with disabilities.
Yoshie Hagiwara
05:01:32
Okay. Thanks.
Linda Vang
05:01:51
My experience with You Tube is that you do need to go in and edit. So, please review the captions You Tube creates before you post.
Buzz Piersol
05:02:26
auto-captioning is pretty bad with any discipline-specific jargon.
