Assemblymember Chris Burdick
31:55
The report sets out with hard facts and figures everything we have been hearing. Thank you for bringing all this to light. It's very helpful to us in the legislature to help get Fair & Timely and Elder Parole over the finish line.

Theresa Grady

Thank you for that powerful information
MARIE RIVAS
35:24
I agree. I met my husband in prison. He has completed 11 years of a 16 year sentence. I have tried everything to show what a changed man he has become to no avail. These long harsh sentences deteriorate the men and women serving them. Its cruel and the change is in the person.
LOUIS D RODRIGUEZ

Jayette Lansbury

Everyone deserves a second chance
Gustavo Rivera
38:37
Mr Wright: Just as an FYI, my bill to change the term “inmate” to “incarcerated person” EVERYWHERE in NY State law passed and was signed into law last year….so, while we work on excising it from our vocabulary, it has at least already changed in the law here
Dave George (he/him/his)
38:37
Thank you, Theresa. #FreeMorrisGrady
Wiliam Rapfogel
38:41
Pray that the report is heard by people in power who actually listen. NY State has a terrible record on clemencies. Our prisons are awful for all inmates; terror chambers for elderly. Only NYC (Rikers) & Federal facilities are in worse shape. Indeed, a Justice Dept that is considering bringing home those on Home Confinement, is oblivious to the elders in poor health that remain in prison. May the strength of this network bring them home in good health.
Jayette Lansbury
38:48
no-one deserves to die in prison
