How do you see fully automated driving evolving, and how long do you think it will take? Will first large-scale (not just small geographic area) deployment be freight trucks on highways?

Is there any movement to reduce the EV/hybrid license plate renewal tax passed by Ohio Legislature last year?

Katie, is the correct EV share number 4.5% of new vehicles registered in OH in 4th quarter 2020? (wow) Is that just share for BEV or share for all vehicles with a plug?

House Bill 546 aims to cut the fees in half. It had its second hearing but not sure at what stage it is exactly: https://www.legislature.ohio.gov/legislation/legislation-summary?id=GA133-HB-546

Bill- Yes, the new transportation budget is being written now, so there are efforts to include a rollback of the fee in the first draft that will be presented to the legislature in the next few weeks. Gary - The 4.5% was in March 2020, when dealers were shut down and Tesla hit high delivery numbers.

Thomas - HB546 was presented in the previous session of the House. It (or something similar) won't be re-introduced until after the next Transportation budget is approved (no later than March 31st), but hopefully it won't be necessary

Luke, your slide mentioned PUCO could support rate setting for DC Fast Charging for invester-owned utilities. The TVA has established a special rate for EV charging to address demand charges. Is OH PUCO already supportive?
