Please feel free to put your questions in chat as we go along
Siobhan Brennan
51:03
Would it be possible to circulate this powerpoint?
Siân Gale
51:27
Yes it will Siobhan
Siobhan Brennan
51:33
Thank you!
Siân Gale

Training from CULT Cymru will run alongside the 6FFS training for both WBFs and for employers and those working in the sector.
Gwenno Dafydd
58:00
How will companies employ Wellbeing Facilitators - would they be employed by 6ft from the Spotlight of directly by companies and would thy be contracted per production?
Craig Morris
58:11
Any chance we can get a copy of all these presentations?
Nigel Streeter
58:15
Are you talking about a generic risk assessment to be applied or adapted in each case or are you talking about the creation of a 'per production' bespoke assessment … thank yiou
Siwan Jones
58:29
Yes the presentation will be sent out.
Siân Gale
59:18
All WBFs will be employed via 6FFS. You cannot book them directly. 6FFS acts as an agent and looks after insurances, support etc.
Maxwell Evans

What kind of experience and/or qualifications are required, beyond having worked in the industry?
Siwan Jones
01:03:18
There is a job description and person spec on our website at https://cult.cymru/en/ under the Well Being Facilitator section. Will touch on this shortly.
Sally Lisk-Lewis
01:05:12
Wondering why documentaries are teamed with 'daytime' and 'part time' roles. Surely this is where a well being facilitator is AS important, working with real people, lesser budgets, long hours, ethical responsibilities etc.
Siobhan Brennan
01:06:26
Thank you Michelle and Leo!
Sally Lisk-Lewis
01:10:31
Fair play Nigel. I have over 300 students on my books (following 25 years in industry) and it really brings home the importance of this.
Craig Morris
01:10:31
I'm so pleased this is becoming more and more important - Are you finding that people are willingly coming forward with issues of bullying and harassment? The general feel seems to be not to say anything for fear of your name becoming mud, jeopardising your future career prospects...
Garrin Clarke
01:12:06
It will be interesting to see this in practice in theatre. Often this falls down to the stage management team who have no formal training and no-one above them to care for their mental health.
Simon Price
01:15:08
I'm just wondering about the classic 'problem' of long and unsociable hours - I'm sure this is something that rears its head repeatedly. Its certainly something I've pondered - but at what stage do you have to accept this is part and parcel of an industry that's based upon time and tight budgets? How would one work around questions of this nature?
Siobhan Brennan
01:15:50
Absolutely @Garrin - this is so necessary in theatre, but I wonder if it will be possible with such tight budget margins even with only one day a week, probably only on the largest productions
Garrin Clarke
01:17:29
That would be my worry, Siobhan. Hopefully ACW will back the project!
Sally Lisk-Lewis
01:19:21
A case in point. I am 12 hours into my day. So much anxiety. Concern. Across fiction and documentary. have learnt so much in my role
Marilia Angove
01:20:20
Excellent point
Siân Gale
01:20:31
This is definitely not only "an on set" role. Our Advisory group has already raised this so we need to ensure the text is adapte
Melinda Lyons
01:22:13
yes
Siobhan Brennan
01:22:15
I saw it!
Maxwell Evans
01:23:02
Would the role be in a position to tackle mental health as a barrier to either the industry in general or progression, rather than just a response to the conditions/culture etc.?
Siân Gale
01:25:11
The JD and PS are comprehensive, these are to aid the application process not to be overwhelming
Siobhan Brennan
01:26:58
Sally you might need to mute we're hearing an echo
Jules Howarth
01:28:34
300 words is a bit brief for these complex issues
Siân Gale
01:28:35
WE want at least two fluent Welsh speakers and applicants from all over wales
Jules Howarth
01:31:35
can I ask? this project is backed by the Health and Safety of work Acts in law, so we have the support of Health and Safety legislation in this new role.
Marilia Angove
01:35:31
For the people that want to apply beyond the 10 being recruited when could training be available?
Siân Gale
01:37:13
We have applied for additional funding for January to March to run more courses. We've already spent our current budget
Sarah O'Keefe
