How do the freshmen get onboarded with Altitude?
Jared Colley
47:17
@Desiree, We have used GTD time as well as the platform of Altitude itself to walk them through the onboarding process of learning all its elements as a Learning Management System
Bo Adams
47:51
@Desiree, the current 8th graders have been using Altitude in MS this year, and as Jared shared, we use the start of year and GTD to further onboard students to Altitude.

Will the hybrid model for grading look any different to a college admissions professional? Please confirm you are using letter grades A, B, C etc. for their high school transcript.
Bo Adams
50:36
@Holly, we do very intentionally and purposefully utilize letter grades for transcripts.
Jared Colley
50:59
@HollyGreen And letter grades which are converted to a GPA score for college admissions offices
Dana McKenzie

If child is taking algebra 1 now, is algebra 2 an option as a freshman?
Bo Adams
51:04
We studied transcripts for multiple years with about 30 representative colleges to get to the model that we use now.
Andrea Kando

in this example, the student doesn't take every core course during each MOD?
Bo Adams
53:26
@Andrea, that is correct.
Bo Adams

@Dana, almost all students take Geometry after Algebra I. For Algebra II, generally a deeper knowledge of Geometry is beneficial.
HollyGreen

Ellen Holloway
