@Griffin I think mental health discussion should start as early as lower elementary because mental health affects all ages and younger students usually have a more difficult time communicating what they are going through (ex. they may be breathing fast and not know it’s anxiety). Allowing discussions to happen earlier on will allow students to be more prepared with tools and allow them to communicate their experiences more efficiently. And yes what Laura said!
