For Dr. Vuckovic: European developed countries (Great Britain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, etc) tend to have midwife attended births while the US is heavily hospital focused with doctors for births. Do you think that this plays a factor in why the US is a developed country and has the most mortality rates?

I think midwives can have a very positive impact on maternal health and yes, that is one reason why the US is doing worse.
