Jason Briggs
52:26
Our thought was not just what we provide for our Own States regarding transportation and revenue for our State , but what about the people we take to neighboring States to visit attractions, restaurants and theater, casinos, boat rides etc. VIP Tour & Charter for example, visiting Boston, NYC, Ct , Nh, Vt, R.I. our day trips and o/n trips the tax revenue to the states is amazing, so in writing to Senators in States that we visit we just mention the amount of business so our focus has been on New England, Atlantic States that we visit on a regular basis..
Mary Presley
53:38
Hoyer says he supports but is unable due to position in leadership????
becky weber
54:35
Members in Leadership hardly ever cosponsor bills.
TIM Guldin
55:16
Sen Rubio is in the same boat he supports CERTS but can't co-sponsor is what I'm told
Lauren Grote
56:34
Loved the video, great job! Still working on the rest of Maryland members of Congress & have had 3 meetings so far this week! Keep pushing, don't give up!

Any chance that these regs will ever apply to charter carriers?
Julianne Ryder - UMA
01:00:35
We will be sharing all of this in the Newsflash today.
Roberta Ann Amrhein
01:03:11
Larry, In August 2019 my drivers, attendants and staff received certification in the First Observer Plus School Bus Company Driver and Employee Training Program. Is this the same program. It was done by TSA.
Roberta Ann Amrhein
01:04:15
Sorry I was late logging in was in another mtg.
Gladys Gillis
01:04:21
Does the TSA have a list of all Fixed Route providers by State?
Robert Brisman
01:04:54
If you are a charter operator that contracts with scheduled route do you need to comply?
Larry Killingsworth
01:05:37
In response to Paige’s question, there IS a chance for the second PPP dip…in active discussion in DC now.
Gladys Gillis
01:08:14
is there an anticipated month they are shooting for? Ken said we should get our data ready now. Is he expecting something this month?!! I hope so!!
Brenda Tidwell
01:09:52
Did not take first ppp. We are applying for this one. What will they need?
Trey Hertel - Prevost
01:10:04
Does this apply to foreign companies coming in from MX
J. Morgan Brown
01:11:05
for the carriers that do work for greyhound and Amtrak as a sub contractor does this apply
Kevin Creighton
01:11:19
coming into San Diego. hot zone
Harold Lewis Jr
01:13:35
Oh Boy Insurance is here...
Harold Lewis Jr
01:14:24
Can you explain the increase in premium during a pandemic?
Trenton Stange
01:14:56
It might cost $1.09 but that is AFTER the expenses of the insurance company including the greedy owners and share holders.
becky weber
01:15:49
Gladys - whether they pass a PPP extension and second dip depends on Congress and most likely will have to be part of a broader relief package - we are hopeful there is enough pressure to get it done and get CERTS on it as well in October pre-election but it's capital P hardball politics now as to whether they can get there - but reasons to be hopeful The situation is literally changing every hour so it's very dynamic but we are positioned well to get both IF HOuse and Senate can agree on a relief bill.
Jackie Denny
01:16:35
Michael is our guy. He does a great job for us and is very accessible.
Brenda Tidwell
01:18:24
happens in Atlanta
Trenton Stange
01:18:30
Can you explain to us WHY we should get an additional $5,000,000 making our exposure $10,000,000. I think this is just placing a huge carrot for the attorneys.? I never understood this?
Harold Lewis Jr
01:18:53
How do you explain increasing premiums for an operator that has not experienced any liability losses in over 20+ years of operating?
Ryan Sanders
01:18:54
Trenton, I have numerous tour operators that require it.
Ric Banister
01:19:02
Didn't see an answer..... Can a company request PPP if already received?
Tom Sambdman
01:19:18
We are aware of the nuclear awards and the targeting of our industry. we started the process of tort reform a few years ago. We must get together and go on the offense.
Harold Lewis Jr
01:20:31
There are increases on Companies in Louisiana!!
becky weber
01:20:48
Ric - there is a proposal that has a lot of momentum to allow a second draw on PPP but it requires Congress to act. Right now, PPP program has expired and no one can apply for a first or second PPP
Jose Gomez
01:20:54
Over 30% increase inour industry
William Allen
01:21:09
How many claims can there be when buses are parked ?
Coachlight Tours
01:21:26
We had a Taxi driver at the port of Miami say our coach hit him. Our driver took pictures and we were totally redeemed from any liability. It was a scam by the Taxi driver.
Dan Newby
01:22:40
I have always been surprised how willing the insurance carriers are to spend $2000 to make a false claim go away. it goes on us, the customers loss run and affects our liability assessment when renewals come. I would like the insurance industry to fight all the frivolous suits that are causing rates to escalate.
Trenton Stange
01:23:33
Dan, I cant agree with you more. They settle all too soon. Its easy money for these attorneys.
Harold Lewis Jr
01:24:35
Did they say renewal premiums have been flat? Well, the 61% increase I received is way away from flat..
Trenton Stange
01:25:37
I had a 94% increase last year.
Paige Balsinger
01:25:52
We need to come together as an industry, as strongly as have for Certs, to fight for Tort reform. That is the best thing we can do!
Jose Gomez
01:26:52
We had a head on collision when a Drunk Driver driving on the opposite side of the road hit us. Our insurance attorney paid $5 million to one of our passenger who unfortunately deceased. They are now rejecting insurance on our company because of that accident where we were not at fault. Found liabilitiy insurance for $60k per bus just for liability
Harold Lewis Jr
01:27:02
61% increase without any claims does not seem fair to me
Bill Gentry
01:27:12
Is Dave Mendenhall still doing Bus Book or bus values?
Larry Killingsworth
01:27:56
Bill—yes, Dave is still active.
Matt Hotchkiss
01:28:18
Are either of your companies cancelling policies if operators are not able to resume full (not reduced) premium payments? Are others? It seems to be happening on a selective basis.
Jose Gomez
01:29:43
Finance company are now looking into reposition for the buses
Brenda Tidwell
01:29:45
Even it we fix little things don’t we need to turn into insurance
Jose Gomez
01:30:06
@brenda you are rigth
Jose Gomez
01:31:51
Jajaja I meant reposession
Brenda Tidwell
01:32:18
what do you mean reposition?
Harold Lewis Jr
01:32:23
Are either one of you able to get good rates in Louisiana LOL???
Brenda Tidwell
01:32:48
thanks
