I think that it would depend on the classes that you are taking as a Freshmen. There are certain classes that IB students take and need to be at a certain level for others. I think that you will need to have a conversation with Ms. Larocco.

you can't graduate early through IB, it's a full highschool program

There are several things to consider for SOLS. That is a conversation that we will need to have at a different time. However, if you do not have test scores from another country, then you would hve to take SOLs during your high school years.

as long as you have passed one year of a world language and algebra 1 by the end of the eighth grade you can qualify for IB

Yes, IB papers are mostly research based, higher level essays

"world language" just means a foreign language class (Spanish, French, German, Latin)

Hi Ms. Koening, the only thing that will be different is the date of the ability testing and an intent to enroll document you will need to sign upon acceptance into the program.

If someone exits the CGS program, then a replacement student will be selected from students who apply for that upcoming year. No replacements are made during the school year.

the cost of the field experience vary from year to year. We try to give firm amounts by the start of the school year for budgeting purposes
